About Me!

Hey There! Feel free to call me Mike, Michael, or Mikey. Any pronoun is valid for me!

I'm a Queer, non-binary person who grew up in Baltimore, MD.

From 2019-2021, I attended Coppin State University for my graduate program in Counseling. During my graduate program, I provided no-cost Telehealth counseling through the Pro-Bono Counseling Project of Maryland. During the difficult periods of lockdown for Covid-19, I found that the need for affordable therapy to combat isolation and stress was very high. Growing as a counselor during this time, and seeing how impactful accessible therapy was during such a period of strain in our society, is one of my main motivators for providing reduced rate counseling sessions now as a professional counselor.

After graduation, I moved to Washington, DC and have been a full time counselor since early 2022. My goal is to always be as best of an advocate for the LGBTQIA+ Community as possible, helping others reach their goals and find greater fulfillment in the therapeutic process.
